Serving Free Clinics in Pennsylvania

Home

The Free Clinic Association of Pennsylvania (FCAP) is the only membership organization representing the interests of Free Clinics in Pennsylvania.  FCAP is a member of the National Free Clinic Association.

The mission of the FCAP is to provide education and networking opportunities for member free clinics and to encourage and contribute to the development of regional and national free clinic associations.

FCAP is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit trade association.  Our annual meeting is held in September at our annual conference.

Membership in the association is open to any Pennsylvania health care clinic who meets the definition of a free clinic as described in our by-laws.  Non-voting membership is also available to Interested Individuals and Groups who support our mission.

Free Clinics provide free or low-cost health care for the uninsured.  Health care services vary, but usually include primary medical care and access to diagnostic testing and medications.  Some clinics also provide free dental care, access to specialist physicians, mental health and/or social services.
